Francis Lafforet

Engineer from the Ecole Centrale de Lyon, specializing in architecture and landscapes in Lille. Having worked for more than 10 years in the construction of public buildings and housing, as well as in the maintenance of built heritage and land management.
Passionate about nature since childhood, I decided in 2016 to train in botany and permaculture. Then, after practicing on several agro-ecological farms, I worked in several communities to support/implement their permaculture designs.
At that time I was focused on experimenting and establishing a 100% self-sufficient lifestyle in the great outdoors.

In 2019, I moved to Costa Rica with my family to develop a permaculture farm and hone my skills in syntropic agriculture. It took me some time and global events to realize the point of undertaking such a project on a family scale.

Back in France in 2021, I practiced coexistence in several communities, seeking personal and interpersonal growth and a healthy balance between autonomy and openness. I realized that conscious, inclusive, and self-responsible coexistence was the key to harmonious coexistence.

Enriched by these lessons, I returned to Panama in 2022, in search of fertile ground to germinate a regenerative, ethical and profitable housing model.

Doctor in neurocognitive science and mathematical modeling, popular trainer and international expert for 15 years at the European Commission, then co-founder of a successful school of personal and spiritual development, I have supported more than 150 humanist entrepreneurs in coaching and seminars.

I have always had both a detailed and holistic view of the world.

Particularly through my training and experience in neuroscience, psycho-anthropology, spiritual psychology, Tao, and human permaculture.
I realized, like Francis, that the key to cultivating the richness of being in relationship is self-responsibility.

An ecologist at heart, contact with nature and the preservation of life is an absolute necessity for me.

I renovated my own house with natural and healthy materials;

I put permaculture into practice on my land.
Passionate about natural health and self-sufficiency, I am interested in food enhancement, lactofermentation, herbalism,
live food and seed production (Kokopelli).
